From this Blog’s introduction:

My name is Maxamillion Foizey and I love moving pictures. Call it cinema, film, flicks, movies, what have you, I adore all things that scroll by at 24 frames per second. I’ve reviewed film professionally since 2004 and have hosted a weekly entertainment radio show, Max on Movies, since 2006.

I’m starting this blog because most of my reviews have focused on new releases and I wanted an outlet to spotlight older films. To say I have an extensive DVD collection is an understatement. It would be more accurate to say I have an overwhelming DVD collection, and it’s my hope that this blog helps with that issue, as well.

I’m going to attempt to watch one film from my collection every day, in alphabetical order (except for direct sequels to films, e.g. I will watch The Dark Knight directly after Batman Begins), and post a review of that film on this blog the following day. The idea is to post a new film review EVERY DAY on this blog, and watch my entire film collection, thus killing two birds with one remote control.

Now, this isn’t to say I’m going to become a shut-in and spend every evening at my house watching and blogging about films. Those days when I have obligations (weddings, funerals, dentist appointments) I will post a review from my archives, which will still be new to this blog, and most likely, you.

I have enough movies for this project to last more than two years, though I’m not certain my wife and I will actually make it all the way from A Christmas Tale to Zodiac. But it will be a fun gauntlet to run.

I’ll be previewing the following day’s review (tomorrow: A Clockwork Orange!), so I hope you will watch these movies with me and let me know your thoughts on each film. Now let’s pop some corn and dim the lights, the movie’s about to start…
